Extract Intel Drivers From Exes
Apr 14, 2018 Yes, the.exe drivers are for Windows 8.1, however, the.cab drivers ARE for Windows 10. I know my CPU supports it as I've done my research. When adding the cab files through the Add legacy hardware method they do add, but incorrectly. As for drivers in.exe's, most have command line switches so that you extract the files from them. The actual exe wrapper is useless if you extract the files out, but ConfigMgr has no way of knowing if an.exe is actually a self-extracting executable. If you can't extract the files out, go grab the drivers for the actual hw vendor. Setup.exe -clean -noreboot. All is needed is to extract the files from the executable and ZIP the necessary drivers. Dec 06, 2007 I need to get the SATA drivers from the Intel Matrix Storage Manager, and I only have the.exe file. How do I take the files out from this.exe file, or any other for that matter? I hav tried looking in the TEMP folder (I cleared the folder, and then double clicked the.exe, there came some files, but not the ones I needed), and have tried. Only users with a brandnew Intel chipset (from 8-Series up for Windows 7, from 9-Series up for Windows 8/8.1) or a very old Windows OS should install the latest suitable *.INF files for their specific Intel Chipset Devices to get rid from the 'missing driver' message within the Device Manager.
Whenever I have to deploy some new workstations I like to include all the inf files/drivers into my deployment share. With the Intel Chipset inf files it is quite a hassle. Since it doesn't happen all to often, every time I start googling for how to get the inf files out of the executable file that is offered by Intel, with no results. And then I read readme.txt:
- Strollin, it was a video driver.exe. There was no.zip version of the file available (at least, I didn't see one, even though there normally is), and I couldn't install it with a.exe version because my laptop is a Dell, and it only accepts Dell drivers despite those being much older than the Intel ones.
- The Proper Way to Fully Install Intel Chipset Driver Raymond Updated 2 years ago Windows 22 Comments When I was in my teens and started to learn about fixing computers, one of the first thing I remembered learning was the proper order to install drivers.
..
-extract <path> Extracts all driver files to the path specified.

The module communicates with the microcontroller using a serial communication protocol called I2C. The details about current, date and time is stored in its register area as Binary Coded Decimals(BCD).
By the way: the -? switch does not show this information, but there is a note that more details are in the readme.txt. :-
I thought that I just get it out there.
